What do you get when you put together a sound based on influences from Hip Hop, R&B, Rock and Soul? The answer is HipRocSoul. HipRocSoul is the combination of influences that has fueled two innovators, QueAndMalaika, to produce a sound and presence that could heavily impact the music industry as we know it today. They have managed to create a style that is relative to almost every major market, all the while remaining one sound; using a combination of Que’s use of technology and live instrumentation along with Malaika’s incredible lyrics and iconic sultry sexy vocals, a voice that can’t be argued may be one of the most distinctive sounding voices around. Que brings incredible top notch guitar playing, that has been compared to some of the greatest, and that will surely be recognized and studied one day. His ability to also be able to play other instruments is astonishing. His soulful heartfelt voice is a perfect compliment to Malaika’s smooth tone. Together it’s like magic. Que is also the producer of the project, and has brought in a couple incredible musician’s from his camp to show off their stuff.

The QueAndMalaika live show stands up with some of the greatest. Audiences across the country have been captivated by QueAndMalaika‘s engaging, electric and unique show. As the opening act for George Clinton and The PFunk Allstars, QueAndMalaika has set the stage on fire at venues such as The House of Blue in Chicago, IL, The Roxy and The Viper Room in Los Angeles, CA.

QueAndMalaika, a husband and wife team, drawn together and recognized the genius they saw in each other. She gave it the name, he gave it the sound, and now they bring it to you.
